ƒ? Our 4" Inch Depth 20x25x4 MERV 10 Air Filter is convenient to replace, easy to use and optimized for most air filter conditions. This MERV 10 HVAC air filter is designed to protect your home or business HVAC system from most airborne particles. The filter also removes microscopic particles which aggravate seasonal allergies, can cause odors and potentially stain walls and furnishings. This pleated air filter improves performances for any and every application. All filters utilize fibers which do not support microbial growth, and do not absorb moisture. These fibers keep your filters working harder, longer! filters are ideal in systems where maximum square footage of filtration is needed, and provide high performance with low pressure drop for excellent energy efficiency. Engineered and designed for high strength and rigidity, these filters defend from Lint, Dust, Pet Dander, Pollen, Dust Mites, & Mold. Independent quality control tested, with heavy duty moisture resistant frame, these filters are available in several standard face sizes. All media used in the manufacture of these filters are made of 100% synthetic fibers, using a tapered radial configuration. A heavy duty, recycled expanded metal reinforcement is laminated to the air-exit side of the filter by a heat-setting adhesive to ensure consistency or the radial pleats. This expanded metal is also galvanized to deter rust and corrosion. The pleated cartridge is bonded to the peripheral interior of a heavy-duty, moisture resistant beverage board outer frame. This design and manufacturing process results in high performing, high quality air filters that can withstand temperatures up to 180°F. It is recommended that these filters be replaced at least every 90 days, but they may need to be changed more often based on a variety of factors. Pets, poor air quality, respiratory issues and a number of other factors can affect the rate at which filters should be changed.
